Three trailer-mounted mud tanks and their accompanying equipment were recently shipped to a project site. These tanks, known as shale shaker tanks, intermediate tank, and sucking tanks, are expected to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of mud management during drilling operations.
The shale shaker tank, designed for mobility and convenience, consists of three compartments: the supply compartment, the sand and gravel compartment, and the degassing compartment. The compartments are equipped with drainage pipes and sand-discharge gates. The wellhead manifold features an outlet, while the tank itself is fitted with guardrails and walkways. The entire tank body is covered with reinforced steel grating.
In addition to the sand and gravel compartment, another compartment in the shale shaker tank is equipped with agitators and a mud cannon at the tank bottom. The tank top is installed with two shale shakers (MG4) and a degassing device.
The intermediate tank, also trailer-mounted, comprises three compartments: the desanding compartment, the desilting compartment, and the centrifugation compartment. The compartments are equipped with clean water pipes and sand-cleaning gates.
Each compartment in the intermediate tank is equipped with agitators and mud guns at the bottom of the tanks. Furthermore, two centrifugal pumps are installed at the upper end of the tank's left side, while the tank top is fitted with mud cleaner(Hunter MG) equipment and a centrifuge.
The trailer-mounted sucking tank consists of two compartments: a pump compartment and a mixing compartment. The smixing compartment features a mud gun, a sand-cleaning gate, and a clean water pipe at the bottom.
Inside the mixing chamber, two 11 kW agitators are installed to ensure thorough mixing of the slurry. Additionally, two centrifugal pumps and two mixing hoppers are mounted on the right end of the tank.
These trailer-mounted mud tanks and their associated equipment are expected to play a crucial role in optimizing mud management during drilling operations. With their versatile design and efficient functionalities, they offer enhanced control over mud properties, ensuring smooth and efficient drilling processes.
